Your EVDO setup will arrive with a modem and a 3 foot indoor antenna. The device is a simple ‘plug and play’ system which allows up to 4 ethernet connections including a USB connection for IP phone connection.

Unlike conventional cellular signals, your subscription data is handled by a AAA server in a remote location. The AAA server provides the gateway to the internet.

EVDO works similarly to the way your cell phone operates in that it relies on signal from a wireless tower rather than a physical connection like a phone line or cable. An EVDO modem receives the signal and allows you to connect to the internet - it's as simple as that! EVDO modems are a 3G Router which can also work in areas with 4G technology.

Unlike most 3G EVDO networks which have a 5 gig data cap, our service does not have a data cap.
